POS Available Here repurposes the aesthetics and functionality of the point-of-sale (POS) stands commonly found throughout Nigeria to re-route money from Maastricht to Lagos as a form of reparations.

Playing with the dual translation of "debt" and "guilt" as “schuld” in Dutch, the project visually explores the extractive relationship between Nigeria and multinational corporations through advertisement and sponsorship logos. Fabrics hand-dyed in indigo reflect a palimpsestic history that materially pushes back against the dominance of industrially produced Dutch wax print and prioritizes local textile practices.

Most importantly, POS Available Here is activated through performance and money is put into circulation: money is raised using POS terminals and redistributed to POS agents in Lagos as a form of reparations.
